Sorting through my loose change today

it dawned upon me that I miss handling Australian currency. The notes...the larger-sized coins...oh I miss the humongous 50 cent!

Holy crap. Ain't I lucky to have left Mel earlier,

or fear bringing H1N1 in, like the guy has. (The two guys actually.)

The chirpy Ang Moh voice at Bigpond customer service seems to have transported me back there,

for that moment. it's quite surreal really
